Understand NebulaClaw's core components

Bot (Agent)

A Bot is your AI instance โ€” one Bot maps to one dedicated Agent gateway with its own AI model, persona, knowledge base, moderation rules, and connected Telegram groups.

After purchase the platform assigns a pre-registered Telegram Bot from its internal Bot Pool and hosts it for you โ€” no interaction with @BotFather needed. Gateway bootstrap takes about 30 seconds; the console polls status automatically.

A Bot's avatar and username cannot be changed after creation. Name it carefully.

Community Presets

Four built-in community role presets, each with a tuned persona prompt, avatar, and tone:

PresetBest for
Project CommunityWeb3 projects / product communities โ€” whitepaper Q&A + anti-shill
KOL / Alpha GroupPaid alpha / research groups โ€” signal-to-noise control, DYOR reminders
Trader CommunityTrading discussion โ€” market-neutral, no investment advice
Meme CommunityDegen / meme-coin groups โ€” high-energy vibes + strict scam-link enforcement

After choosing a preset you can further enter Custom mode to append project-specific instructions (e.g. "route staking questions to /staking").

Switching presets preserves your custom text โ€” experiment freely.

Model Tiers

Three tiers covering different cost / quality needs:

TierExample modelsBest for
Economygpt-4.1-nano, gpt-4o-miniHigh volume, cost-sensitive
Balanced (default recommended)gpt-5-mini, gpt-4.1-miniGeneral use, balanced quality and cost
Premiumgpt-5.2, gpt-4o, gpt-4.1Demanding Q&A, complex moderation

The model can be switched anytime from Agent settings.

Knowledge Base

A collection of documents the Agent consults when answering. Each Bot supports up to 50 documents; each document body is up to 50 KB; titles up to 256 bytes.

Documents are semantically indexed โ€” the Agent finds relevant passages even without exact keyword hits.

Moderation Rules

Rules are written in natural language โ€” the AI interprets and enforces them. No keyword dictionaries required:

"Messages pushing 'guaranteed returns' or 'official airdrop' scams"

Available actions:

ActionEffect
muteTemporarily prevent sending โ€” set a duration or permanent
kickRemove from the group โ€” can rejoin via invite link
banPermanent removal โ€” requires manual unban

Every action is recorded in the Audit Log with trigger rule, context, and timestamp for compliance review.

Channels

The messaging platforms your Bot connects to:

  • Telegram โ€” full support: group management, @-mention control, multi-language fallback
  • Discord โ€” planned
  • Slack โ€” planned

Groups & Fallback Language

Each Bot can serve multiple Telegram groups. Groups must be added manually by Chat ID (-100...) in Moderation โ†’ Telegram Groups. Per-group settings:

  • Require Mention: when on, the Bot only replies when @-mentioned; off means it watches all messages.
  • Fallback Language: the Bot auto-detects the user's language and replies in kind. When it can't determine the language (e.g. the message is only emojis, images, or mixed-language), it falls back to this setting. Default is "Follow user" (auto); can also be set to a specific language (EN / ZH / KO / TR / ID / RU / VI).

Token Credits

AI inference is metered in tokens:

  • Monthly credits: $9.99/month subscription includes $5.00 token credits โ€” unused balance resets at the end of each billing cycle
  • Top-up credits: buy packs from Billing โ€” never expire
  • Monthly credits are consumed first; once depleted, the bot draws from top-up balance. When both are exhausted the bot pauses โ€” top up to resume
